How I Lost My Manboobs By Watching TV
A while back, I was sitting on the couch feeling really sorry for myself. I thought I was doing everything right to get rid of my unsightly manboobs . I was eating right, bench pressing 3 times per week, and spending most of my free time on a boring treadmill. I was ready to give up and accept manboobs as a part of my body forever.
That’s when I saw a report on the news that talked about how a lot of fat storage (including the kind that causes manboobs) is not just due to being overweight. In fact, there is this hot new area of research that is showing that the acid/base balance in the body is just as important as the calories we eat!
The reporter said that a lot of the foods we think of as “healthy” are actually very acidic. Eating too much of these, and not enough of alkaline foods (the opposite of acidic) can make a man’s hormones drastically shift.
This shift in hormones is not a harmless or temporary shift. It has serious implications in how your body stores fat. Turns out, when you eat these acidic foods often enough, your body likes to store fat in the chest. No one for sure knows why, but they think it has something to do with an increase in estrogen (which is the most abundant hormone in women).
I’m really glad I saw that TV report because it helped me get off the couch and do something proactive about my manboobs. After I made a few tweaks to my diet based on that news story, it had a HUGE impact on my manboobs!
