For the optimum results in losing chest fat you need to do a mix of cardio and resistance training.
Cardio is best for losing fat through raising the heart beat to an optimum level for fat loss. Cardio training could include brisk walking, jogging, cycling or swimming, anything that get the heart beating faster, but not too fast.

Resistance training involves exercising using weights or the weight of the body (eg press-ups). Resistance training will increase your muscle bulk, improve your metabolism, and has been shown to have other benefits such as improving joint function and bone density.
